Download an ISO from Techbench here:

Extract its contents

Run the upgrade

After extraction run setup.exe to start the upgrade.Information technology would be in the folder where the ISO has been extracted

I tried it as y'all sugest. The update i use is an upacked iso and worked on all other computers.

And so I tried all the other ones and all do the aforementioned ...... not updating.

I accept tried virtually all these options.

Tried Local business relationship, uninstall antivirus, tried media cosmos tool update at present, unpack iso, iso .....

Only pick I did not practice nonetheless is disconnect it from the network.

Came across this and had this same issue with a friend's PC when updating it from 8.ane to x.  Looked at log files created past the upgrade tool and narrowed information technology do a registry key that was missing.  For any reasons the rights for HKLM\Software\System\Setup were a bit messed upwards.  The tool wasn't able to create the Volatile key nether HKLM\Software\System\Setup\MoSetup.  I had to prepare the permissions for the Setup and then the local admin had full rights to it then create the Volatile cardinal.  Once the Volatile key was created, the upgrade tool was able to proceed.  But before that, I deleted the whole Setup key expecting that the upgrade tool would have been able to recreate any was required but it still had issue with the Volatile primal.... get effigy.
